Tonkinese in Just Some of Its Glory
These are just a few of the beautiful cats could not make it to the Club Show, so they are present in photos, giving fine examples of the breed, and telling the story of its characteristics. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
The natural beauty of the Tonkinese is beyond compare – whatever pose you catch them in, they are ready for a photoshoot … no need for lengthy preparation, filters or editing with this breed!
From a very small age, the Tonkinese assumes (quite rightly) that it is a valued member of our families – and fits itself right in. As with all kittens, the very young get away with anything by looking cute…
Occasionally a few ground rules are needed but a little motherly guidance is generally sufficient to set the kittens into good habits…
In general, our Tonkinese enter enthusiastically into every part of our lives.
We find our activities being observed with the closest attention – sometimes covertly …
Sometimes blatantly …
Tonkinese will requisition areas of the house for their personal use.
Sometimes they may even try to influence us, or take matters into their own paws…
Their natural friendliness is often remarked upon … and the ‘Tonk pile’ is a well-known phenomenon.
