Members' Cats Seeking New Homes
The TBC provides this page solely for the use of its breeder members who need to re-home their own cats. This service is separate from our Tonkinese Rescue.

Please Note: Other than posting the information provided by the owner of the cat, the Tonkinese Breed Club has no involvement with the cats listed and is not responsible for transactions between the owner (or named contact) and yourself.

You do not want to bring a cat into your home without knowing whether it has a respiratory virus, especially if you have other cats. So it is strongly recommended that, when taking an ex-breeding cat into your home, the breeder provides you with a copy of a recent triple respiratory PCR test from a veterinary lab (e.g. Glasgow or Langford) that shows the following results:

Resp. virus FCV/FHV - NO VIRUS ISOLATED.
Feline herpesvirus PCR is NEGATIVE
Chlamydophila virus PCR is NEGATIVE

All reputable Tonkinese breeders will have such documents for their cats. If they don't have a recent document then they should have their cats tested before re-homing them.

To list a cat here please complete the Listing Form. If you'd like to include a photo please e-mail it to me separately.
